From The Paddock To The Plate
Year 7 students in their Agriculture classes have been studying plant and animal production, learning about how food is produced from the paddock to the plate. Students have designed their own hamburger recipes utilising healthy Australian ingredients, including the vegetables they have grown themselves in the school plot. Cooking their own burgers is a tasty way to end their unit of work as well as helping them pick up a few handy skills in the kitchen along the way. ~ Mt Jack Redman
