NRL Schoolboys Rugby League

Farrer witnessed an exciting match yesterday at the NRL Schoolboys Rugby League match against Hunter Sports High School.

Hunter Sports High headed off to a great start, leading 14-0 after the first 15 mins of the game. However, this did not leave our Farrer 1st XIII's despondent. Instead the team gained momentum and fought back with a try and conversion by Captain Logan Spinks just before half time.

The second half saw the team determined to close the gap which was rewarded with a try by Year 11 student Sam Archer and conversion by Logan. The match ended in a close match with the final score being 14-12 to Hunter Sports High.

We are extremely proud of our First XIII's for their display of determination, confidence and commitment to the game. Well done lads on your fine performance and great sportsmanship!
