1.2 Extended Absences
Extended Absences from School (meaning those other than in cases of sickness) should be avoided, particularly in Years 11 & 12 where the
impact on the students' education can be significant, making it difficult for the student to catch up.
When a Student will be absent for an extended period of more than five (5) days, parents are to complete the Student Application for Extended Leave (P.24) form available in the Form Bank.
This form will be directed to the Principal for approval, and you will be advised of the outcome. If for a Boarder, you will be requested to then submit a Reach Leave Application.
