Sally Barton


Bachelor of Mathematics/Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)

Sally completed her tertiary studies at the University of Newcastle before commencing her teaching career at Tenterfield High School in 2014. In 2017, she relocated to Tamworth, where she taught at Peel High School for three years. Sally joined Farrer in 2020 and, in 2023, was appointed to the role of Year Coordinator.

Sally has a strong interest in supporting the development of students’ critical and higher-order thinking skills, as well as in exploring technological advancements and their effective integration into the classroom to enhance student learning outcomes.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Sally has coordinated the Year 7 Cricket competition for the past four years and takes boarding students to Parkrun events on weekends.
