Boarder Activities
Outside of school hours and on weekends, Boarders are kept occupied with a variety of activities, including utilising our on campus sporting facilities.
They can attend training, go swimming, play golf, tennis, football, cricket, basketball, play pool/snooker, bike riding or attend the gym. They can participate in some of the various Sports and Recreational activities, go to the Library or participate in academic programs.
On Saturday morning, boarders may go into town.
Farrer employs a full time Recreational Coordinator who organises afternoon and weekend activities. This includes trips away for
activities such as paintball, fishing, coastal visits, camping. The planned Weekend Activity Programs, subject to change, for each Term
in 2024 are as follows;

Preparation (Prep)
All boarding students have prep each weeknight. During this time, students complete homework, projects and assignments as well as undertaking an individual study program. The library is available during Prep hours for students to undertake assignment research. Other specialist rooms, such as art, music and metal/wood workshops are open on particular nights.
