Stephen Druce
Head Teacher (Relieving) Technology and Applied Studies (TAS)
After completing a Bachelor of Technology Education degree at Southern Cross University, Stephen filled a number of temporary positions at Narrabri High, Gunnedah High and Tamworth High before taking up a long term position at Wee Waa High School. During his 7 years at Wee Waa, Stephen held a range of positions including Year Coordinator, FIRST Robotics Mentor and VET Coordinator.
Since commencing his time at Farrer in 2020, Stephen has been actively involved in many aspects of the school community, including serving as a Duty Master in the boarding school, leading the Gifted and Talented program, mentoring in Rite Journey, and contributing to Farrer rifle team and VEX robotics teams.
Taking on the role of Relieving Head Teacher TAS in 2026, Stephen is proud to work alongside his experienced and talented colleagues within the TAS faculty. He is a passionate teacher, dedicated to supporting Farrer students in developing high-quality projects and strong technical skills that will help prepare them for future employment opportunities.
Outside of school, Stephen has also been a performing artist for over 20 years, and frequently plays music at venues in the Tamworth area.
He has used his talents on several occasions at school, performing at the 2025 Mother Son dinner, as well as becoming a permanent fixture at
the Year 12 Melbourne Cup Day fundraiser.
