Boarding Schools Expo Narrabri
The Boarding Schools Expo will be in Narrabri on Friday, 25 July, and Saturday, 26 July 2025. It will take place at The Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena Street, Narrabri. Admission is free, and it's an excellent opportunity for families to explore boarding school options.

2025 Ram Sale
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School is set to host its 26th Annual White Suffolk Ram Sale on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, at the Farrer Agricultural Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Tamworth. The sale will feature LambPlan Performance Recorded Rams, all genomics tested (IMF and SP5), and carrying an MN3 OJD status. The Helmsman Buying System will be utilised, and LambPlan®Gold Quality Data will be available for all rams.
Experience Day 2025
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School will host an Experience Day on Friday, 26 September 2025, the final day of Term 3. This event is exclusively for Year 5 students interested in exploring Farrer’s facilities, engaging with teachers, and interacting with current students.It’s a great opportunity for prospective students to discover firsthand Farrer’s programs and facilities, and experience what it’s like to be a Farrer boy.

Farrer Class of 2025 took part in the World’s Greatest Shave to support the Leukaemia Foundation. With 84
Year 12 students shaving their heads, they’ve raised $91,253.60. Farrer Class of 2026 will continue this tradition.

Selective School Placement Test
The NSW Selective High School Placement Test for Year 7 entry in 202. This computer-based assessment evaluates students' abilities in reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills, and writing. For comprehensive information, visit the NSW Department of Education's official page.
Farrer Cross Country Event
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School’s annual Cross Country Carnival will feature both junior and senior races, offering students the chance to compete while promoting physical fitness and school spirit.

TAS V Farrer
The annual TAS vs Farrer competition will be held at Farrer in 2026 This longstanding rivalry features competitions in rugby, football, hockey, tennis, chess, debating, and shooting. The highlight of the day will be the First XV rugby match for the Jim Levy Shield. This event is a key fixture in both schools' sporting calendars, showcasing talent, teamwork, and tradition.

Farrer 24th Annual Angus Bull Sale
Farrer’s 24th Annual Angus Bull Sale will be held on 24 June 2026 at the Farrer Agricultural Centre of Excellence. Featuring genomics-tested, fully vaccinated Angus bulls, this event supports the school’s agricultural program and student learning. Prospective buyers and community members are invited to attend and support the school's commitment to excellence in agricultural education.
