Farrer Students Finish Term 1 in a BANG
Farrer boys had some outstanding achievements at the end of Term 1 and during the holidays!
Teddy Hampton soared to success, winning GOLD at the Athletics NSW U18 Men's Pole Vault State Championship! He jumped an impressive 4.13m to place 5th in U18s and 4.15m to place 7th in U20s. Teddy is now off to Nationals in Perth and has been selected for the World U20 Training Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in May!
Logan Hayward and the NSW State Boys Team brought home a silver medal from the U16 Field Hockey Nationals in Adelaide, after a hard-fought Grand Final against Victoria.
Our 14 Years Boys State Swimming team smashed their PBs by 5 seconds, finishing 15th in NSW! Special shoutout to Mitchell Maybury, who PB’d in the 50m freestyle and matched his time perfectly in his relay event!
In basketball, the Farrer First V took on McCarthy Catholic College for the annual Macklin Innes Memorial Game, securing a great win. A huge congratulations to the McCarthy community for raising over $14,000 for brain cancer research.
Well done, boys – we are incredibly proud of you all!
