Powering Future Careers

Our students had a fantastic opportunity this morning visiting the Tamworth Essential Energy Depot, gaining first hand insight into the many career pathways within the industry.

Students toured all aspects of the depot, learning about the day-to-day operations, equipment and technology involved in keeping our communities powered. They also had the chance to speak with staff and apprentices and hear directly about their training journeys and experiences in the industry in the lead up to the 2027 Apprenticeship program.

A highlight of the visit was catching up with Farrer alumni Ted, who has recently commenced his Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology - a wonderful example of the pathways available to our students beyond school.
