DICK HODGSON SHIELD - Farrer vs TAS

Friday 15th May 2026

12pm to 5:30pm

Farrer and TAS will compete for the Dick Hodgson Shield at Farrer on Friday 15th May 2026. Students will compete in Rugby Union, Basketball, Football, Chess, Debating, Hockey, Shooting and Tennis. The 1st XV Rugby Union game will compete for the Jim Levy Shield at 4pm.

Students are required to wear their Farrer sports uniform with the exception of the chess and debating teams who will wear their Greys. A reminder that students involved in contact sport are to bring in their protective gear (ie. mouthguard, shin pads etc.) or they will not be permitted to participate.

Students who have completed their game against TAS are encouraged to remain and spectate for the remainder of the day. 

Dinner will be provided by Farrer in the Refectory for participating students and staff between 5-6pm. The presentation of trophies for the event will be held in Farrer Clubhouse at approximately 5pm.

Permission notes to be returned by Tuesday 12th May 2026.

We welcome parents, carers and family members to attend. Please note that all visitors are required to sign in and sign out with our QR code which will be available at the Clubhouse and ovals. Onsite car parking will be available.
