Aussie Pride on the World Rodeo Stage!

Congratulations to Farrer student Myles Williams, who recently represented Australia at the National High School Rodeo Association World Championships in Rock Springs, Wyoming, USA, competing in the Reined Cow Horse event for the first time as part of the official Australian team through the Australian High School Rodeo Association (AHSRA)!

After months of planning, paperwork, and preparation, including meeting his horse early July near Boise, Idaho; Myles and his team journeyed to the US to make history as the first Australians to compete in this challenging discipline on the world stage.

Against 109 elite riders from around the globe, Myles placed 35th, an outstanding achievement.

We are so proud of Myles for his determination, courage, and strength in representing Australia with pride at this event. What an unforgettable experience and a big step forward for Australian youth rodeo!
