Students got hands-on in the Launch Pad Program with Apollo Engineering, stepping into the world of metal fabrication for a full day of real-world experience!

From flying sparks to their very own personalised fire pits, students worked side-by-side with industry professionals in a live workshop setting, learning the trade from the inside out.But this day was about more than just tools and welding. It was about launching into real career possibilities. By connecting with a local employer, students are laying the groundwork for future employment and apprenticeships, with opportunities on the horizon as soon as the end of 2025.
