Congratulations Buckley Shield U14s

On Tuesday 15 Sept, our Under 14s Rugby League team defeated Bass High (Sydney) in the NSWCHS Buckley Shield State Final in Cessnock.

Tries to Nate Wilson, Teo Starr and Lachlan Phillips saw Farrer lead 14–8 at half-time. After Bass scored first in the second half, Teo Starr added a brilliant try from a Kade Strong kick to lock it at 20–20 at full time.In golden point, Max Johnson scored in the corner to win it 24–20.

This is Farrer’s first Buckley Shield victory since 2008 and third in the school’s history.

Riley Young was named Player of the Final and Teo Starr Player of the Championship.
