Dobell Drawing School

Congratulations to Darcy Madgwick who was successful in gaining a place in the Dobell Drawing School program. This incredible opportunity offers selected Year 11 students from regional and outer Sydney metropolitan schools the chance to work in a tertiary setting in a visual arts program conducted by practising artists.

During the holidays, Darcy attended the National Art School in Sydney, furthering his visual perception and drawing skills in portraiture. He participated in a four-day intensive studio program culminating in a student exhibition.

We sincerely thank the National Art School and the Sir William Dobell Foundation for supporting regional students. Darcy really enjoyed the experience and we have thoroughly enjoyed seeing his incredible drawings!
