Farrer 1st XV Taking Home to Robson Shield

Thursday, the 5th of September, saw the Farrer 1st XV follow our victorious U15 Buchan Shield winners to East Rugby Ground, Rose Bay, to face off for the CHS State Final.Farrer would face off against Terrigal HS, who had won their semi-final 60 to 7.

They came out fast and electric, threatening the edges of the Farrer defence. 10 minutes into the game, they managed to slip past our winger and crash over in the corner to take the lead. However, this was the fire Farrer needed, and they fired back with three unanswered tries to finish the half in front.

Half time saw our boys focused, hungry, and in sensational form. The 1st leapt at the 2nd half whistle and put the pressure straight back on scoring another three tries over the first 20 minutes. Terrigal brilliantly snagged an attacking kick to streak away for a late try. But Farrer emerged victorious and the CHS State Champions 29 to 10 over Terrigal HS.
