Farrer flying high on the National stage!
Six Farrer athletes are making their mark at the 2026 Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Brisbane, delivering outstanding performances against the nation’s best over six days of elite competition.
Ethan Walker impressed in the U17 Men’s events, placing 8th in Australia in the 400m (49.49) and also finishing 16th in the Long Jump (5.57m).
In the U14 Boys 400m, Patrick Miskle produced a personal best of 57.39 to qualify 6th fastest for the final, where he went on to finish 7th nationally. Theart Nel also excelled in the same event, running a 4-second personal best of 56.74 in qualifying 5th fastest, before placing 5th in the final with 56.77.
Lachlan Milligan continued his strong form across the championships, including a 2:01.15 in the U17 Men’s 800m (18th in Australia) and representing Farrer with pride throughout.
Harrison French recorded 22.88 in the U17 Men’s 200m to place 17th nationally, while Hamish Crittenden showed determination in the U15 Boys 400m, finishing 9th in 55.45 despite injury.
With multiple top-20 finishes, finals appearances and personal bests, the Farrer boys have delivered a standout campaign and continue to show exciting potential on the national stage.
