Future Engineers in the Making!
Congratulations to three of our students who recently completed the RIEP Engineering Skills (Machining) program with Apollo Engineering and TAFE NSW. Over six intensive days at Tamworth TAFE, they learned hands-on skills in:
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Basic welding
- Manual machining (lathe & mill)
- CNC laser cutting operation
This program gave students the chance to experience what it’s like to be a machinist — problem solvers who use high-tech tools to shape the parts that power everything from race cars and rockets to medical devices and robots.
