Gunnedah Music Eisteddfod last weekend great results.

Farrer students Sean Gander and Brae Hinchcliffe attended the Gunnedah Music Eisteddfod last weekend and came home with some great results.
Sean had a three big days at the Gunnedah Music Eisteddfod. He has played 6 solos on the piano taking away the Primary Pianist Award and was one of the finalist in the Secondary pianist section. Brae performed two piano solos on Saturday and gained a placing in the the category "Popular Entertainment Piano Solo - 12 years & under"Sean also played 6 trombone pieces, coming 2nd place as the Most Promising Instrumentalist and playing 4 songs as a trombonist with the Gunnedah Shire Band. Sean has been selected for the 2024 State Junior Wind Band on trombone which includes workshops to be held in Sydney during August with a performance at the Opera House.
