Sushi Making
Students in Year 7 History have been learning about Japan under the Shoguns. 7HISW class were joined by Mrs Gasson and Mr Redman to make sushi. Mrs Gasson completed a student exchange to Japan and has visited many times, and was very happy to share her experiences and answer questions. She then showed the boys how to make delicious sushi, using a variety of ingredients including Katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, tuna, kewpie mayonnaise, cucumber, carrot and of course seaweed and rice in their marvellous creations. Thanks to Mrs Gasson for sharing your skills and knowledge, Mr Redman for showing how it’s done, and our Fec staff for providing cooking assistance and the kitchen utensils.
