VEX IQ Showdown

Six teams from Farrer hosted Oxley high School in the final Vex IQ Match of the 2025/6 season.

After Farrer walked away with 4 of the 6 awards last tournament, Oxley were keen to regain some dignity with a strong performance in the final matches of the Mix and Match season. With a depleted Farrer contingent due to illness, Farrer was again on the back foot with several teams having issues before the first matches.

The boys dug deep and with solid driving and a good understanding of the game, recess saw Farrer holding 4 of the top 6 rankings on the board. After 114 matches, Farrer held this lead heading into the finals.

Strong performances by several Oxley teams set some impressive scores but the alliance of Farrer A and Farrer F made a clinical performance to take the teamwork champions trophy. Farrer C and Farrer E both earned awards from the Judges.
