Year 10 Commerce Donation
Mr Daniel Gillett from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was invited to Farrer to receive a donation from our Year 10 Commerce Market Day.
As student Ted Haire shared in his speech:
“We’re donating our proceeds to the Ride for the Chopper, which supports the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service — an organisation that plays a vital role in helping people across regional NSW, including many families in our own community. Thanks to everyone’s generosity and support on the day, we’ve raised $1,479.74, which we’re proud to present today to Daniel Gillett. Thank you to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter team for the incredible work you do, and to everyone who helped make Market Day such a success.”
Congratulations to Blue Collar BBQ — Seamus, Lucas, Charlie, Myles and Ted who took out the Commerce Cup for generating the highest group profit of $844 on the day.Well done to all our Year 10 Commerce students for their hard work, creativity and generosity!
