Year 10 Commerce Market Day
Tuesday 30th August was the first Year 10 Commerce Market Day extravaganza.
Five stalls competing, against each other for the highest profits and the honour of winning the Commerce Cup.
On offer at recess were toasties, cakes, lollies, scones and sausage sangas, whilst lunch saw the teams take it up a notch, tempting the crowds with pizza, crispy fried chicken, burgers, steak sambos and Nachos. One group - Daddy’s Diner - provided entertainment along with their tasty treats, giving the boys a chance to water bomb and cream pie resident footy head Peter Stevens, and holding a choccy milk drinking competition. Congratulations to Year 12 student Sol Arranz for an impressive 47 second skull of a two litre bottle of milk - though not long after, the “what goes up must come down!” theory dawned quickly upon our champion choccy milk drinker!
Round two hits next Tuesday with another five teams facing off for the glory. ~ Ms Jamie Bailey & Ms Jessica Galvin : Yr 10 Commerce Teachers
