Northern Schools Prime Lamb Competition

Farrer had a great day out in Guyra at the Northern Schools Prime Lamb Competition.

The Year 9 Wool Science boys learned plenty in the workshops about meat science, wool judging and sheep judging. They then competed with great success in the junior judging, with Hayden Benson placing 3rd, Marshall Hinze placing 2nd and Archie Crowe taking taking out 1st place.

A special award from the organisers went to Hugh Gallagher and Hank Woodberry for their enthusiasm and participation

A huge thank you to the Fec Staff for providing meals, Mr Darren Smith for his hard work and preparation leading up to the event and Mr Andrew Eather for delivering the sheep and lending his expertise on the day.
