Year 12 Southern Universities Tour 2024

Several Year 12 students from Farrer took part in a collaborative tour of Southern Universities alongside students from across Tamworth last week.

We visited 5 Universities in 3 days, experiencing the taste of a student's life at University of Wollongong (UOW), Macquarie University, University of Sydney (USYD), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and University of NSW (UNSW).

During our visit at University of Wollongong, the students had the opportunity to engage in the Discovery Day, attending various workshops and lectures of their preference throughout the day.

While at Macquarie University, the students were warmly welcomed by the staff of Dunmore Lang College for a college dinner. We also had the chance to explore the campuses and college accommodations through guided tours led by current students.

The Southern Universities Tour is an extremely informative and valuable trip for our students.
