Year 7 & 8 Bush to Beach Program

The weekend between ODAS camps last year saw eighteen year 7 and 8 students participate in the Bush to Beach Program.

Rookies and instructors from Copacabana Surf Lifesaving Club experienced Farrer life for the weekend - including feeding the calves, eating in the refectory and participating in evening activities. The Farrer boys completed their Surf Rescue Certificate theory component as well as practical CPR and surf rescue signals.

We head to Copacabana in Term 1 to finish off the Surf Rescue Certificate and experience a weekend as a Copacabana Nipper.
