TAS V Farrer
The annual TAS vs Farrer competition will be held at The Armidale School (TAS) on Thursday, 5 June 2025. This longstanding rivalry features competitions in rugby, football, hockey, tennis, chess, debating, and shooting. The highlight of the day will be the First XV rugby match for the Jim Levy Shield. This event is a key fixture in both schools' sporting calendars, showcasing talent, teamwork, and tradition.

Farrer’s annual Athletics Carnival will be held on 17 June 2025 at Farrer Oval. This exciting event showcases student talent, house spirit, and sportsmanship across various track and field competitions.
Farrer 23rd Annual Angus Bull Sale
Farrer’s 23rd Annual Angus Bull Sale will be held on 25 June 2025 at the Farrer Agricultural Centre of Excellence. Featuring genomics-tested, fully vaccinated Angus bulls, this event supports the school’s agricultural program and student learning. Prospective buyers and community members are invited to attend and support the school's commitment to excellence in agricultural education.
Boarding Schools Expo Narrabri
The Boarding Schools Expo will be in Narrabri on Friday, 25 July, and Saturday, 26 July 2025. It will take place at The Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena Street, Narrabri. Admission is free, and it's an excellent opportunity for families to explore boarding school options.
AgQuip
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School is excited to announce its participation in AgQuip 2025, Australia's premier primary industry field days, scheduled for Tuesday, 19 August to Thursday, 21 August 2025, at 134 Black Jack Road, Gunnedah. Farrer looks forward to connecting with prospective students, alumni, and their families during AgQuip 2025. It's an excellent opportunity to learn about the school's programs, meet faculty and students, and engage with the broader agricultural community.

2025 Ram Sale
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School is set to host its 26th Annual White Suffolk Ram Sale on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, at the Farrer Agricultural Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Tamworth. The sale will feature LambPlan Performance Recorded Rams, all genomics tested (IMF and SP5), and carrying an MN3 OJD status. The Helmsman Buying System will be utilised, and LambPlan®Gold Quality Data will be available for all rams.
Experience Day 2025
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School will host an Experience Day on Friday, 26 September 2025, the final day of Term 3. This event is exclusively for Year 5 students interested in exploring Farrer’s facilities, engaging with teachers, and interacting with current students.It’s a great opportunity for prospective students to discover firsthand Farrer’s programs and facilities, and experience what it’s like to be a Farrer boy.
