2022 Hsc Industrial Technology Major Projects
On Monday & Tuesday (29th & 30th August) marking of the Year 12 HSC Industrial Technology Major Projects was conducted by NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). This process involves external markers appraising the student’s production of a Major Project and a supporting Folio that outlined the design development, related research, and management of their Major Project. Some Folios documents were up to 80 pages and show comprehensive detail of the production process.
On show are projects ranging from trailers, fire pit, stock weigh crate, Ute back storage & dog boxes, saddle stands, queen beds, bookshelves, display cabinets, dining room table, coffee tables, and dog kennels. The Industrial Technology Multimedia students presented a range of video productions, some involving 3D model creations and many other interesting digital concepts.
The student work is a culmination of almost 12 months work and the quality of work is very pleasing. The teaching staff have provided great support to the students and we expect HSC results to be in the higher bands for many students. For many of the students, their result in Industrial Technology will be the best result they achieve in their HSC. Many of these students will seek work in the agricultural sector, trades and some will be aspiring to progress onto university. ~ Mr Eric Reading
