Annual Farrer Rugby Ball

The second year of the Annual Farrer Rugby Ball was a great success with players, parents, partners and coaches dressing up for a night of fun and awards.

MC Kym Hagon did a fantastic job, educating the boys with some poetry and wit. Both Goldie’s and First XV were bestowed with some great end-of-season awards, the crowd particularly impressed with Will Hamel and Gilbert Thwaites comedy behind the microphone.

The Johns Family “Spirit of Rugby” award was passed on to two worthy recipients. Forbes Murdoch winning it for Goldie’s due to his positive can-do attitude, and Lachlan Dietrich winning it for First XV due to his incredible determination and team spirit this year.

A huge thank you to the parents involved for organising the night, especially Mrs Ruth Maxey for her efforts going above and beyond.

A great way to celebrate the season that was, congratulating players and thanking coaching staff.
