Behind The Scenes Of A Classroom

Some of our dedicated staff participated in a Quality Teaching Round (QTR). QTR aims to build teacher capacity through a framework from which to commence analytical conversations. As part of this, teachers observe a lesson, on this occasion a Year 7 Science lesson taught by our wondering Mrs Daly, and code key elements of the lesson to the Quality Teaching Framework. From here, the teachers discuss the coding, providing feedback and acknowledging key elements of best practice and how teaching strategies can be adopted into each lesson across the school.
