Experience Day 2022

Thank you for sharing our Experience Day with us! Over 180 Year 5 boys from across the region became a Farrer student for a day on Friday! Just in case the boys haven't unpack with their parents what the day entailed - here's how it went.... Our Experience Day boys enjoyed a full day at Farrer learning just about everything..... including flying drones, robotics, maths, art, French, music, an introduction to timber and metal work, science experiments and writing some poetry. In horticulture the boys learnt how to propagate a plant which they got to take home and explored dairy products and different breeds of dairy cows. Some of the boys even had a go at leading our Illawarra Shorthorn dairy heifers and all of them enjoyed some delicious ice cream to eat! It was our pleasure to meet so many young boys who are excited to explore the possibilities here at Farrer and what it could mean to them. Hopefully they all slept like a log last night, dreaming of becoming a Farrer student in the future.
