Farrer First V Basketball

On Thursday the 1st of June, the Farrer First V basketball team took on Ballina High at the Tamworth Sports Dome. It was a fantastic game with both teams displaying excellent offence and defensive skills throughout all 4 quarters. The Farrer boys worked hard to come away with a well deserved win, 87 points to 72. This sees the team head to Sydney to play off in the last 8 in the state at the NSWCHSSA Open Boys Championships this week. I could not have been prouder of the team - they were magnificent!

Thank you to all the supporters who came to watch, we appreciated the support. Additionally, thank you to the refectory staff who put on an early breakfast to accommodate the game and to Mr Toby McVey for being our water boy/driver/organiser. Everyone's assistance is much appreciated.
