Farrer 1st XI Hockey

Farrer 1st XI Hockey team took on a very competitive squad from Oxley High School last week.

Farrer 1st XI’s got into their stride early with goals from Jack Marshall and Oliver Burrows in the first quarter. Farrer then managed to double their lead with goals from Chris Fox and Sebastian Burrows taking the score to 4:0 at half time.

Farrer 1st XI’s further pressured Oxley HS in the 2nd half with 2 goals from short corners courtesy once again from Jack Marshall. The final quarter ended with a final score of 8:0 victory to the boys in Green and Gold with goals from Jack Marshall and Henry Richards.

Both teams played the game in great spirits. Many thanks to Mrs. O'Neill for coaching the side and also to Reg Straw for his support and assistance.
