Legacy Day 2023

On Friday 1 September, 19 Farrer students from the SRC and Year 10 participated in fundraising for Tamworth Legacy during Legacy Week.

This organisation was established in 1923 as a vital support for the partners and children of those who gave their lives or their health serving our country. They provide essential social, financial and developmental support that these families depend on each day.

Students visited businesses right across the Taminda area to sell badges and pens to support local families of veterans. We have been involved in this excellent cause for many years and the students enjoyed the opportunity to represent the school for this community service. Thanks to the students who participated, Greg and Debbie from Legacy for inviting us to continue our support of their organisation, the Farrer staff who made this possible and the businesses and individuals who gave so generously to this worthy cause.

Choosing the right school for your son is very important. The best way to decide if Farrer is a good fit is by exploring our campus and talking directly with our team. We invite you to book a tour of the school, ask lots of questions and see first-hand what we have to offer your son and your family. We look forward to meeting you.
