Student In The Spotlight - James Sweeney

Students pursuing great achievements in and out of school

At the end of 2021, Farrer student James Sweeney was one of two referees from our region to be selected to participate in a 2 year refereeing academy. Recently, James had his practical assessment during 2 difficult matches in Gunnedah and obtained his Level 3 referee status.

We understand he is the youngest Level 3 referee in our region which is something that should be celebrated, especially for his age.
