Under 18s And 16s Water Polo Nsw

Last weekend, Farrer had 13 boys represent Tamworth across Under 18s and Under 16s at Water Polo NSW Country Clubs.

The early morning training with our Farrer Coach, Mark Hoath and participation for our Opens team in the Tamworth Men’s comp contributed to the boys outperforming the other regional teams and making through to the grand finals for their age groups.

The 16s came into the grand final undefeated after a tough game against Central Newcastle, going down 14-4. The 18s had an exciting match with East Newcastle. At half time the boys were up 3-2 and were in the match with one point between the two teams until the last few minutes of the game. Final score 5-8 to Easts.

Both teams have come home with silver medals. This is a great outcome and confidence boost as we come into Finals for the local comp and CHS ~ Mrs Katie Rowe
